TroPix
Tropix aims to provide Haitian growers access to US markets by commercializing their products both online and through our well established network of distributors and wholesalers.
We add value where foods are being wasted due to lack of access to markets. We bridge a gap because there are a lot of farmers looking for opportunities to sell their products.
We are involved in all aspects of the value chain, from sowing to delivery, to make sure these products are of the highest quality, safety and attractive to the the consumers.
We want to enable buyers to take advantage of the excellent and tasty tropical produce available in the countries where our growers operate.
meet the team
Founder // CEO
Marie Ena Derenoncourt has nearly two decades of experience in the agricultural industry. During her career she has worked in various roles in the areas of market development, international logistics, project management, customer service and sales.
She has a close connection to agriculture through both her grandfathers and both her parents who are agronomists and are major industry stakeholders in Haiti. It was Marie’s entrepeneurial spirit and desire for impact that led her to start Tropix in 2020. Under her leadership Tropix is committed to providing world access to safe and wholesome products grown in Haiti and the rest of the Caribbean.
Marie Holds a MS in the Information Systems and an MBA degree from Boston University.
