It is much longer than the local “piman zwazo” and packs a lot of punch. The hot chili peppers that we sell are all grown in Haiti. At roughly 100,000 scovilles they are hotter than the cayenne but not quite as hot as most habaneros.
The hot chili pepper has high content of Vitamin C which is a powerful antioxidant and is important in would healing and efficient immune responses. It is also rich in Beta carotene and Capsanthin which are both powerful antioxidants. Beta Carotene is readily converted to vitamin A within our body. s
